The Eurasian Week is a major annual business event aimed at the development of EAEU’s economy, investment and export potential. The Forum is held by the Eurasian Economic Union Member States and the Eurasian Economic Commission. The initiative to establish the Eurasian Week was approved by the decision of five Prime Ministers of EAEU Member States back in 2015.

The Forum is designed as an effective dialog platform for developing B2B contacts, discussing tools and conditions for business development in the EAEU, as well as for jointly elaborating the strategy of EAEU economic development in the context of global challenges.

The Forum includes exhibition and business program. The both parts of the Forum are hinged on development of export potential of EAEU Member States.

Exhibition

Within the framework of the Eurasian Week, the Union Member States will showcase their export opportunities. The interactive exposition will bring together more than 300 companies of the Union Member States with an export potential.

The main areas of the exhibition include energy, IT and telecoms, agriculture, food industry, transport and logistics, engineering and automotive industry, chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, metallurgy, mining, light industry, and wood processing.

The participants of the Forum will be able to invite any of the exhibitors for a bilateral meeting right at the Forum site by using an online appointment system.

What is the cost of attending the Forum?

All events of the Eurasian Week can be attended free of charge. Pre-registration is required.

How can I participate in the exhibition?

The exhibition of the Eurasian Week is open for participation to the companies of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia. If you are interested to participate in the exhibition, please contact the operator from your country. The contacts of operators will soon be published in the Exhibition section.

Can the participants of the Eurasian Week visit EXPO 2017?

To visit EXPO 2017, you need to purchase a ticket. The ticket price is 4000 tenge (about $10). You can buy a ticket on the website of the exhibition and at the ticket offices.

Where was held the Eurasian Week last year?

Last year, the Eurasian Week was held on October 26-28 in Moscow. The event was attended by more than 2000 people from the EAEU member states, Vietnam, Singapore, Egypt, and South Korea. 43 companies participated in the exhibition. The business program included 16 thematic events and about 400 presentations by the representatives of expert community, businesses, politics, and academia.

Where will be accommodated the participants?

The participants of the Eurasian Weeks pay themselves for their flight and accommodation expenses. For your convenience, the Organizing Committee of the Forum has reserved rooms in hotels of different categories. If you want to personally book your hotel, we recommend to consider the options on the left bank (Yesil District of Astana) located as close possible to the venue of EXPO 2017.

What is the weather in Astana at the end of August?
